Community Promise Federal Credit Union
The Community Promise Federal Credit Union exists to provide services without punishing fees and high interest for members of any income who are either in debt or need help learning to manage finances. It is located at 1313 Portage Street with number 269-459-1777. A second location has just opened in the Douglass Community Association.
Creating Confident Caregivers
I also mentioned a few months ago at a meeting that I can highly recommend the 6-week workshop for caregivers offered by the Area Agency on Aging entitled Creating Confident Caregivers. Contact information is Patti Stratton, 373-5141. It is apparently a program created by the University of Minnesota and is offered nationwide at various locations.
