I specialize in relationships, with problems including trust issues, communication problems, infidelity, or other problems that occur within a relationship. I also specialize in anxiety and depression related to trauma. I believe therapy is a collective and transforming process in a supportive and non-judgmental environment.
EMDR is an evidence based treatment that uses bilateral stimulation to help clients heal from and overcome trauma.
EFT is a modality that is founded in attachment theory and suggests that when we are experiencing distress within our relationships, it is related to our attachment needs. EFT will identify your and your partner’s needs, discuss why they are not being met in the relationship, and then change how you interact with each to healthier and loving patterns. This will help you feeling safe with your partner, and from safety, connection can be rebuilt.
My goal is to provide a empathetic environment where we can develop your treatment goal and work toward reaching it. I provide a systemic perspective to problems while discovering how to optimize your personal self and life experience. I aim to provide techniques, support, and compassion to optimize your experience.
